With Easter just around the corner, we thought it might be fun to share a budget-friendly breakfast idea that’s fun and easy to make. The ingredients needed aren’t expensive and you may already have them on hand.
Easy Scrambled Egg Easter Chick Toast for Kids
You only need a few ingredients but this scrambled egg toast for Easter will make for a fun breakfast for kids. They will love the creativity and they can even help you decorate the chick’s face if they want.
It can be tricky to get the kids to eat breakfast. Making breakfast fun and creative will help grab their interest and encourage them to eat more so we love creating fun kid-friendly recipes.
We did this with the mini heart pizzas and it worked well. The kiddos loved the shape and thought it was more fun to eat.
And, if the kiddos want to help, they can! You may want to help with the scrambled eggs if they are too hot, but they can definitely decorate the chick faces!

Here’s what you need for the chick toast for Easter:
- Scrambled Eggs
- Toast (English Muffins can also be used)
- Carrot Slices
- Sliced Olives
While we made 3 pieces of chick toast with this recipe, you can easily adjust it to serve more people.
How to make the scrambled egg Easter chick toast for kids:
Scramble your eggs and toast the bread.
Take a piece of toast and cut it into a circle. You can use a cookie cutter or eyeball it. It doesn’t have to be a perfect circle.
As noted above, you can also use an English Muffin instead of toast. Since those are already circled, all you would need to do is toast the muffin.
Place the scrambled eggs on top of the piece of circled toast.
Place 2 olive slices on the eggs for the eyes.
Cut a carrot slice in half and place it on the eggs for the mouth. We separate the pieces of carrot just a bit so that it looks more like a mouth.
