How cute would this mason jar lid snowman ornament look on the tree? I’d say super cute and it’s made from Dollar Tree supplies so it’s inexpensive!
It’s also an easy snowman ornament the kids can help make for the holidays. As with most of our ornament crafts, it does use a hot glue gun and paint so adult supervision is recommended.

Dollar Tree Snowman Ornament Made from Mason Jar Lid
Start by hot gluing the inner rim of the mason jar to the inner metal piece. This is going to be the start of our snowman face.
Next, using the white chalk paint, paint the entire mason jar lid white. Once you paint the lid, if you see that the lid is still showing through the paint, add another coat. We ended up using 2 coats.
Cut about a 6-inch section of the black and white checkered ribbon. Using the hot glue, glue the ribbon to the inside of the mason jar lid.
Once the glued ribbon is completely dry, use the black fine point sharpie or marker and draw 2 circles for the eyes. Then, draw smaller circles to form the mouth
To finish off the face, use the orange fine point sharpie to draw the triangle on its side for the nose
You may want to give it a few minutes for the face to dry. Once it’s dry, you can hang it on the tree and enjoy it during the holidays.
