Loaded Cheeseball Bites Appetizer with Apricots

You will love the salty taste from the bacon and the sweet flavors the dried apricots give these little nuggets of goodness! Add in the everything bagel seasoning and you have the perfect combination.

This recipe makes 12-15 mini apricot cheese bites and if you are looking for an impressive party appetizer, these will be a hit!

Ingredients Needed For Apricot Cheese Ball Bites

  • 8 oz. block cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Dried apricots, cut into fine bits
  • 5 slices cooked bacon, crumbled into fine bits (best if cooked crispy)
  • 1/3 cup everything bagel seasoning
  • 12-15 pretzel sticks

Tip: Everything bagel seasoning can be extra salty. To cut back on the salt, you can use the salt-free everything bagel seasoning.

How to Put Together the Mini Loaded Cheeseball Bites with Apricots

In a medium-sized bowl, cream together cream cheese, Greek yogurt and cheddar cheese. Mix until all three ingredients are well-combined.

Then, fold in apricot bits and bacon. Mix everything well.

Pour everything bagel seasoning into a bowl.

Line a baking sheet or cutting board with wax paper. Roll the cheese mixture into small spheres, about 1 ½ inches in diameter.

Roll each cheeseball into the seasoning, coating it evenly.

Place gently on the lined baking sheet. Insert one pretzel stick at the top center of each cheeseball.

Serve with crackers for an appetizer or snack! I love putting the cheese balls appetizers on a white rectangle appetizer plate.
