Easy Bunny Pudding Cups

Ingredients 

Instant Pudding Mix – For these we went with chocolate pudding. You can use any instant pudding mix flavor you want.

Milk – Used to create the instant pudding.

Easter Candy – Chocolate eggs, Peeps, Sweet Tart ropes, and Easter colored sprinkles.

Whipped Topping – Frozen whipped topping gets mixed into the pudding to make it fluffy.

Oreos – Crushed Oreos are mixed right into the pudding mix for even more flavor.

Glass Jars are used to put the pudding cups together. You can any style of small jar or cups. These are 4 oz mason jars.

How To Make Peeps Pudding Cups

Easter Peeps Pudding Cups
  1. Combine the chocolate pudding and cold milk. Whisk until thickened.
  2. Fold in the frozen whipped topping.
  3. Stir in the crushed Oreos.
  4. Fill each jar with the pudding mixture, leaving a small amount of space on top to add the candy toppings.
  5. When ready to serve, top each jar with Easter sprinkles.
  6. Add one bunny Peeps to each jar, along with three chocolate eggs.
  7. Press the ends of the Sweet Tart ropes into the sides of each jar to make the handle for the basket.
  8. Serve the Easter Peeps pudding cups immediately or chill until ready to serve.

Substitutions & Variations

  • Pudding: Instead of using chocolate pudding for the Easter Peeps pudding cups you can use vanilla, tapioca, or any flavor you want.
  • If you don’t want to use glass jars, you can use small cups or containers.
  • Mix up the candy with your favorite Easter themed candy and sprinkles. You can even add in your favorites for more fun.
  • Choose your favorite colors or flavors of Peeps.
  • You can leave out the Sweet Tart ropes and not make handles. You can also use other “rope” types of candy to instead.

How to store

  • Store: Store the Easter Peeps pudding cups in the fridge to keep the pudding cold. I recommend pudding them in some type of airtight container. Large cake containers work well, just make sure there’s enough room so the Peeps don’t get squished.

Tips
  • Refrigerate the jars for about an hour. This will chill them and help keep the pudding cold when we pour it in.
  • You can make the pudding cups ahead of time as is. You can also put together the pudding and place them in the glass jars then add your toppings when you’re ready to serve.

  • 1 5.9 ounce package instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 10 Oreos crushed
  • 10 Peeps
  • 30 chocolate candy eggs
  • 10 Sweet Tart ropes
  • Easter sprinkles
