Equipment

  • 4 oz mason jars

Ingredients

  • 1 5.9 ounce package instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 10 Oreos crushed
  • 10 Peeps
  • 30 chocolate candy eggs
  • 10 Sweet Tart ropes
  • Easter sprinkles

Instructions

  • Combine the chocolate pudding and cold milk. Whisk until thickened.
  • Fold in the frozen whipped topping.
  • Stir in the crushed Oreos.
  • Fill each jar with the pudding mixture, leaving a small amount of space on top to add the candy toppings.
  • When ready to serve, top each jar with Easter sprinkles.
  • Add one bunny Peeps to each jar, along with three chocolate eggs.
  • Press the ends of the Sweet Tart ropes into the sides of each jar to make the handle for the basket.
  • Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Refrigerate the jars for about an hour. This will chill them and help keep the pudding cold when we pour it in.
  • You can make the pudding cups ahead of time as is. You can also put together the pudding and place them in the glass jars then add your toppings when you’re ready to serve.

Substitutions & Variations

  • Pudding: Instead of using chocolate pudding you can use vanilla, tapioca, or any flavor you want.
  • If you don’t want to use glass jars, you can use small cups or containers.
  • Mix up the candy with your favorite Easter themed candy and sprinkles. You can even add in your favorites for more fun.
  • Choose your favorite colors or flavors of Peeps.
  • You can leave out the Sweet Tart ropes and not make handles. You can also use other “rope” types of candy to instead.
