Who doesn’t love pizza? Our favorite is pepperoni pizza so turning it into a filling casserole dish is an easy way we can get that flavor, in a more filling way.

Pepperoni Pizza Casserole Recipe

What you need to make this Pepperoni Pizza Casserole Recipe:

  • 16 oz rotini pasta noodles, cooked al dente
  • 24 oz pizza sauce
  • 2 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 16 oz mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 6 oz pepperoni slices, divided

We use this casserole dish to make it in and love it. It’s handy and has been sturdy for us.

How to make pepperoni pizza casserole:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the rotini pasta according to package directions. You don’t want to overcook them, you want the noodles to be al dente.
  3. As the noodles are cooking, combine the pizza sauce and the Italian seasoning in a medium bowl.
  4. Once noodles are al dente, drain them, and put them in a large bowl.
  5. Stir the sauce in with the noodles.
  6. Add 12 oz of mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Stir until combined. Keep about 15 slices of the pepperoni to go on top.
  7. Pour the pepperoni pizza mixture into a baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the pasta mixture.
  9. Place the 15 slices of pepperoni we saved back on top of the cheese.
  10. Bake for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
