How To Use These Thanksgiving Pattern Worksheets
These free Thanksgiving worksheets include 20 pages and 4 pattern types. Each worksheet comes in color and black and white to save ink.
First, choose your pattern type. The worksheets include AB, ABC, AAB, and ABB patterns. Each pattern gets more difficult as you go on.
For example, let's say A= pie, B= corn, and C= gravy.
An AB pattern would go: pie, corn, pie, corn, pie, corn.
An ABC pattern would go: pie, corn, gravy, pie, corn, gravy, pie, corn, gravy.
An AAB pattern would go: pie, pie, corn, pie, pie, corn, pie, pie, corn.
An ABB pattern would go: pie, corn, corn, pie, corn, corn, pie, corn, corn.
The AB pattern is the easiest, as it only uses 2 items that go back and forth.
After choosing the pattern type, kids will cut out the Thanksgiving images at the bottom of the page. Then, they will glue on the correct image to finish the patterns.
