Easy Rotisserie Chicken Salad Recipe
This easy rotisserie chicken salad recipe only takes a few minutes to put together and is full of flavor.
I’ve always been a fan of chicken salad and I will try just about any chicken salad recipe. Chicken salad is my weakness. I’ll admit it! I especially love enjoying a tasty chicken salad sandwich during the summer.
I also love that it is so customizable. You can add your favorite flavors, try different ingredients with your chicken, and create your own flavor.
Easy Rotisserie Chicken Salad Recipe That Only Takes 10 Minutes
While we add 3/4 cup of mayo, you can add more or use less. The same goes for the onion and the celery.
- 16 oz (or 1 lb) of shredded rotisserie chicken
- 3 tbsp chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped celery (about 2 stalks)
- 3/4 c. mayo
- 3 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
How to make this easy chicken salad with rotisserie chicken
Place the shredded chicken in a bowl.
Add the onion, celery, mayo, relish, and lemon juice. Mix well. Add the salt and pepper to taste and combine.
Store the chicken salad in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Ways to enjoy rotisserie chicken salad:
- One of our favorite ways to enjoy any type of chicken salad is on toasted bread. You can use any type of bread you like and make a sandwich out of it.
- Serve it with Ritz crackers and enjoy it as a snack as we do with our honey cream cheese dip.
- On a vegetable platter.
- My kids love eating it right out of the bowl.
