Honey Bacon Cheese Dip with Ritz Crackers
A simple 4 ingredient dip recipe, this honey bacon cheese dip is served with Ritz crackers for a sweet and salty appetizer.
Not only can you use this as an appetizer, but it also works great as a quick and easy snack to throw together. We also love serving it on game day, gatherings, and it’s a holiday favorite (in addition to our cranberry pecan cheese ball) for many in our family.

What I love most about this is that you only need 4 ingredients and about 5 minutes to put everything together.
- Cheddar Cheese – Mild cheddar is preferred but sharp will do.
- Cream Cheese
- Real Bacon Bits – any brand, generic is what we use for cost. If you have bacon on hand, you can fry it up, drain it well, and crumble.
- Honey – the sweetness of the honey adds an amazingly sweet flavor and also helps hold the dip together a little
Sweet Honey Bacon Cheese Dip with Ritz Crackers
- 8 oz package of mild cheddar cheese
- (2) 8 oz packages of cream cheese (softened)
- real bacon bits (we use an entire package but you can use the amount that fits your taste). You can also use real bacon cooked and chopped.
- 1/4 c to 1/2 c. honey
How to put together the honey bacon cheese dip:
Tip: Start with 1/4 c of honey. If you find that it’s not sweet enough for your liking, add more. For some, adding a full 1/2 c can be too sweet.
- Mix and combine all ingredients well.
- Optional: Let the dip chill in the fridge in an air tight container for a few hours.
- Serve with Ritz crackers.

It’s such an easy appetizer dip that you can put together in just a few minutes. You can enjoy it as soon as it is mixed or store it in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
I do not recommend freezing the dip but you can store the dip in an air-tight container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
