Texas Toast Sloppy Joes
Delicious, easy to make, and affordable, these Texas Toast Sloppy Joes are perfect for weeknights. Use store bought sloppy joe sauce or make your own!
Growing up I never liked sloppy joes. I just didn’t like the flavor of the sauce. As I got older and we were trying to budget a little better, I gave the meaty sandwiches another go.
Texas Toast Sloppy Joes

While we still use the store bought sloppy joe sauce once in a while, I still prefer to make my own.
Once I fine-tune the exact measurements I use, I plan on sharing that recipe. It’s just a simple mixture of brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, and some spices so it’s easy and affordable. It will also be perfect for these Texas toast sloppy joes.

These are perfect for weeknight dinners when you want something quick and easy. Along with our chicken margherita dish, it’s a go to now, especially for summer. Plus, they are budget-friendly and even the kids will enjoy them!
