- Wash the apples.
- Slice the apple into ½ inch slices. Throw away the top and bottom slice.
- Remove the center of the apples with a small biscuit/cookie cutter, using a knife to cut around the core, or use a melon baller.
- Use a butter knife to spread the peanut butter on each apple.
- Sprinkle your favorite toppings on top of the peanut butter.

How to store Apple Slices with Peanut Butter
- These are best served immediately. However, you can pre-slice the apples in advance. Sprinkle lemon juice on the top and bottom of the apples to prevent browning. Pat them dry with a paper towel before adding the peanut butter and toppings.
Tips
- Don’t cut the apples too thin. You want them a little on the thicker side, about 1/2 inch, so that you can easily spread the peanut butter and add your toppings without the apples breaking.
- Any type of apple will work for this peanut butter apple snack. Honeycrisp and Granny Smith apples are our favorites.
- If you want to drizzle chocolate over the apples, melt chocolate or candy melts in the microwave and use a fork to drizzle the chocolate over the peanut butter apples.
