What You Need

Bread: Whole grain bread is a popular choice and what we use for this recipe because it’s sturdy and has that extra texture from the grains and seeds. Sourdough is another popular option that you can substitute.

Fresh Avocado: We use fresh avocado slices. If you don’t want to slice the avocados you can dice them just like we do with the tomatoes.

Tomato: We dice half of a tomato for the toast. You can use slices of tomato if you prefer.

Seasonings: Everything bagel seasoning is our go-to choice for avocado tomato toast. We also add a dash of salt and pepper to taste.

  • Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit and the skin. Then, slice the avocado into thin slices.
  • Wash and dice your tomato. If you prefer slices of tomato, you can slice instead of dice.

  • Place the sliced avocado on your toasted bread, then add the tomatoes and everything bagel seasoning.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
