Homemade BBQ Chicken Taquitos in the Air Fryer
These easy homemade BBQ chicken taquitos made in the air fryer make the perfect snack, lunch, or party appetizer.
These are not your typical frozen chicken taquitos. These are homemade with a BBQ chicken filling and are just as easy to cook.

Air Fryer Homemade BBQ Chicken Taquitos
This recipe makes 12 taquitos and only takes 10 minutes to prep and around 8 minutes to cook. They are super easy to put together and they won’t last long!

Air Fryers: I love the COSORI Air Fryer Pro and I love the Ninja Max XL Air Fryer. Both are 5 quarts and are easy to use.
Ingredients:
- 12 corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup shredded Monterrey jack cheese
- Nonstick cooking spray
- BBQ sauce for dipping
Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees.
- Place the tortillas between two damp paper towels and heat them in the microwave for 2 minutes.
- While the tortillas are warming, stir together the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce.
- Place a thin layer of shredded chicken down the center of the tortilla. Top with shredded cheese.
- Fold once side of the tortilla over the cheese, then roll up the tortilla. Secure the end in place with a toothpick, if needed.
- Place each tortilla in the basket or tray of your air fryer. Work in batches, if needed, to keep from overcrowding the tray.
- Coat all the taquitos in nonstick cooking spray and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve with additional BBQ sauce for dipping.
