Delicious and Easy Banana Pancakes
Recipe for Banana Pancakes
Prep time 10 minutes
Servings 8
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of pancake mix of your choice (this recipe uses Betty Crocker Bisquick original pancake & baking mix)
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 sliced bananas
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
Banana Pancakes with Bisquick
Combine the pancake mix, milk and an egg together in a large bowl. Follow the instructions on the back of the box. Stir everything together until fully combined using a whisk or a hand mixer.
Add 1 sliced banana to the mixture and blend everything together. If you want to make it a little sweet, you can add powdered sugar. If your pancake mix already has sugar added to it, it may make it too sweet.
In a medium to large frying pan, heat the olive oil. Then, pour in your batter to the size of the pancakes you want. I like to use a measuring cup because it’s easy to pour and I can control how much batter I use.
Cook the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown. Flip over and repeat for another few minutes.
Serve warm with sliced banana and your favorite pancake syrup.
These banana pancakes are perfect! The kids enjoyed making them with me almost as much as they enjoyed eating the pancakes.
