Recipe for Easy Banana Pancakes

Pancake Mix: We use Bisquick (original) for this recipe but you can use your favorite mix or make your own.

Egg and Milk: These will help make the pancake mix.

Olive Oil: Olive oil is used to cook the pancakes in the skillet.

Bananas: Sliced bananas are added in the mixture as well as on top of the banana pancakes.

Maple Syrup: Let’s face it, you can’t have pancakes without maple syrup! Of course, if you’re not a fan of maple syrup, you can use jam, just butter, or your favorite syrup.

Easy Banana Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of pancake mix of your choice (this recipe uses Betty Crocker Bisquick original pancake & baking mix)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 sliced bananas
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup

Banana Pancakes with Bisquick

Combine the pancake mix, milk, and egg together in a large bowl. Follow the instructions on the back of the box. Stir everything together until fully combined using a whisk or a hand mixer.

Add 1 sliced banana to the mixture and blend everything together. If you want to make it a little sweet, you can add powdered sugar. If your pancake mix already has sugar added to it, it may make it too sweet.

Easy Banana Pancakes

In a medium to large frying pan, heat the olive oil. Then, pour in your batter to the size of the pancakes you want. I like to use a measuring cup because it’s easy to pour and I can control how much batter I use.

Easy Banana Pancakes

Cook the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown. Flip over and repeat for another few minutes.
