These Queso Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches are made with shaved beef and are loaded with green peppers, onions, and mushrooms.

Queso Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Previously, we shared our cheesesteak empanadas and they were a hit. Now, we are sharing a delicious and super easy dinner idea – queso Philly cheesesteak sandwiches.
Easy Queso Cheesesteak Philly Sandwiches
Servings: This recipe makes 4 queso Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. You can double, triple, or adjust the ingredients to make as many sandwiches as you need.
Prep time: Prep only takes about 5 minutes.
Cook time: The shaved beef steaks are cooked in the skilled for about 15-20 minutes.

Ingredients:
- 14 oz of beef shaved steak (or package of Steak-umm Sliced Steaks)
- ½ green pepper cut into strips
- ½ yellow onion cut into slices
- 4 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 10 oz Velveeta cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- ½ cup of Rotel
- 4 hoagie rolls
Directions:
- Add the shaved steak and sliced veggies to a skillet and cook over medium-low heat. You’ll want to turn the meat and veggies every couple of minutes until the steak is cooked through and the peppers are tender.
- In a bowl, add the Velveeta and Rotel and microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Then heat for an additional 1-2 minutes or until you have a melty cheese sauce.
- Slice the hoagie rolls, and fill each with some of the meat and veggies mixture, then top with cheese sauce.
