Easy Queso Cheesesteak Philly Sandwiches

Servings: This recipe makes 4 queso Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. You can double, triple, or adjust the ingredients to make as many sandwiches as you need.

Prep time: Prep only takes about 5 minutes.

Cook time: The shaved beef steaks are cooked in the skilled for about 15-20 minutes.

Queso Philly Cheesesteak

Ingredients:

  • 14 oz of beef shaved steak
  • ½ green pepper cut into strips
  • ½ yellow onion cut into slices
  • 4 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 10 oz Velveeta cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup of Rotel
  • 4 hoagie rolls

Directions:

  1. Add the shaved steak and sliced veggies to a skillet and cook over medium-low heat. You’ll want to turn the meat and veggies every couple of minutes until the steak is cooked through and the peppers are tender.
  2. In a bowl, add the Velveeta and Rotel and microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Then heat for an additional 1-2 minutes or until you have a melty cheese sauce.
  3. Slice the hoagie rolls, and fill each with some of the meat and veggies mixture, then top with cheese sauce.
