Ingredients:

A lot of these ingredients came from the Reese’s Halloween spiders we made.

  • 6 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • ¾ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ box of fudge brownie mix
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup pumpkin candies
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup mini–Reese’s Cups
  • 1 cup M&M’s

Equipment:

Instructions:

Step 1: Add the cereal and brownie mix to a large bowl. Toss the mixture until the cereal is well coated.

Step 2:  In a microwave safe bowl add the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Melt in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until completely melted and smooth.

Step 3: Add the chocolate/peanut butter mixture to the cereal and using a spatula or wooden spoon. Gently mix until the cereal is well coated.

Step 4: Spread the mixture to the baking/cookie sheet until it completely cools. You can place it in the fridge or freezer to cool it down faster.

Once it’s cooled, pour it back into the large bowl.

Steps 5-6: Add the candy corn, pumpkin candies, mini pretzel twists, mini–Reese’s Cups and M&M’s to the bowl. Toss until the candies are well incorporated.

How to Store the Fall (aka Halloween Puppy Chow)

You can store the fall puppy chow in an airtight container. We like to keep it chilled so that the chocolate doesn’t melt, so once we store it in the container, we keep it in the fridge.
