  • 6 c Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 1 16 oz bag Marshmallows
  • ¼ c Butter (½ stick)
  • ½ c white candy melts
  • Nonstick spray
  • food coloring

Instructions

  • Lightly grease a parchment-lined baking sheet with nonstick spray and set it aside.
  • Melt the marshmallows in thirty-second increments with the butter until it is well combined. Stir after 30 seconds to make sure the marshmallows don’t stick to the bowl.
  • Add in two drops of food coloring. Mix well and then add in the crispy rice cereal.
  • Once fully mixed, pour the rice krispie treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet and press until even. Keep the mixture thick enough so that you can use the paw print cookie cutter.
  • Let the rice krispies set for about 30 min. You can also put them in the refrigerator until they are completely set.
  • Use the paw print cookie cutter to make the paw-shaped rice krispy treats and set them aside.
  • Melt the candy melts in 30-sec increments. Stirring each time until there are no lumps and it is completely melted.
  • Dip one end of the straw into the melted candy and then insert it into the bottom of the paw print.
  • Add the remaining melted chocolate to a piping bag and pipe on 4 circles for the paw and a triangle in the center to make the puppy paws.
  • Place them in the fridge for about 10 minutes so that the chocolate and the rice krispie pops are set.
