Cuisine American
- 1 small cake
- 3 ounce package banana pudding
- 2 cups milk
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 bananas, sliced thin
- 10 strawberries, sliced thin
Make the banana pudding as stated on the back of the box. Set it aside and let it continue to thicken up.
Stir the whipped topping into the pudding.
Cut the cake into chunks and place some at the bottom of the glass or bowl.
Add some of the pudding mix to the top of the pieces of cake.
Add sliced strawberries and bananas. You can also put these around the edges of the cups if you want to go with a fun presentation.
Add a tad more pudding mix to the top and kind of spread it around.
If you have leftover fruit, arrange it on the top. Extra strawberries would make it look even more colorful and fun.
- Turn it into a banana split by adding some whipped cream, sprinkles, and cherries on top.
- If you don’t want to use banana pudding you can use vanilla pudding instead.
- Add your favorite fruits. Sometimes we like to add blueberries for some extra flavor.
- For the cake, you can use premade or you can bake your own. A simple pound cake will even work.
- We put these in mini glass cups for presentation but if you want to make one large trifle dessert, it’s easy to do.
