Easy Witch Hat Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups  flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Purple food coloring
  • Purples sprinkles
  • 36 Hershey’s Kisses

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and butter until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg, vanilla, and purple food coloring. Beat to combine.
  • Add the dry ingredients. Beat until well mixed.
  • Use a small cookie scoop to scoop out balls of dough. Roll each dough ball in the purple sprinkles and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 to 13 minutes or until the edges are golden brown but the center is cooked but still soft.
  • Immediately after removing the cookies from the oven, press one Hershey Kiss into the top of each cookie.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
