Cuisine Mexican
- 1 sheet puff pastry dough, thawed
- ¼ c melted butter
- ½ c sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
As the air fryer is heating up, cut the puff pastry dough in half. Next, cut each half into one-inch strips.
Place the strips in your air fryer basket, or air fryer tray, and cook for 6 to 8 minutes. You want the dough to cook until it’s a golden brown.
Stir together the sugar and cinnamon. We like to do this in a zip lock bag so that we can keep it mess free and it makes it easier to get the churros completely coated.
As soon as you remove the churros from the air fryer, brush each churro with the melted butter and place in the bag with the cinnamon and sugar. Lightly shake the bag to coat the churro. We like to do a few at a time so the bag isn’t overcrowded and they can get coated evenly.
