Start by applying 2 coats of black spray paint the to shovel. You can try one coat, but we had to put 2 coats on so that you didn’t see the original color coming through.
While the paint on the shovel is drying, take 12 inches of the burlap lace ribbon and make the bow. I just created 2 loops and used a zip tie to secure it in the middle and then cut the ends of the bow to the length I wanted.
Once the shovel is completely dry, add a a line of glue and add a couple pieces of the eucalyptus to both sides.
Then, add some glue to the bow and add one of the daisies.
Next, add some hot glue to the backside of the bow and press firmly onto the shovel.
Add a dab of hot glue to the top of the shovel and wrap the twine around. We covered the entire handle with twine.
Once you have it covered, cut the twin and use a dab of glue to secure it into place.
