Crockpot Lasagna Recipe Made with Prego

This crockpot lasagna recipe made with Prego traditional sauce is delicious and easy to make. The family will love it!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ½ ground beef ½ italian sausage)
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 64-67 oz Prego Traditional
  • ½ c sugar
  • ½ tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ tablespoon onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon garlic salt
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 16 oz mozzerala cheese
  • 8-10 large uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c parmesan

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, combine the ground beef, onion, and minced garlic and cook until the meat is browned.
  • Add in the Prego, sugar, oregano, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  • While our sauce is simmering, grab a medium-sized bowl and mix together the ricotta cheese, eggs, and parmesan.
  • Grease the bottom of the crockpot. Then, put a layer of the sauce mixture down.
  • Add a layer of lasagna noodles. You will have to break these to make them fit.
  • Add another layer of sauce, then a layer of the ricotta mixture, and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat the sauce, noodles, sauce ricotta, mozzarella layers until you have no more sauce.
  • Cook on low for about 7 hours. If the noodles are not completely done, cook for another hour.
  • Allow to rest and then serve with your favorite bread!
