Ingredients

  • 12 baked or store bought gingerbread man cookies
  • icing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 24 small chocolate-covered pretzels
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 12 red strawberry candies or any red candy for the nose

Instructions

  • Arrange the gingerbread man cookies upside down on a flat surface with the legs facing upward.
  • Pipe or spoon royal icing onto the top section where the legs meet.
  • Press two chocolate-covered pretzels into the icing to form the antlers.
  • Add small dots of icing in the center of the cookie and attach the candy eyes.
  • Place a red strawberry candy at the bottom point to create the nose.
  • Allow the icing to set completely before serving.

Notes

  • Store-bought or homemade gingerbread cookies both work well.
  • Slightly thicker icing helps decorations stay in place.
  • Let icing fully set before stacking or transporting.
  • A great option for holiday parties or cookie exchanges.
