Ingredients

  • 48 mini pretzels
  • 24 pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup pink melting candy
  • 1 cup light blue melting candy
  • 1 cup yellow melting candy
  • 1 cup orange melting candy
  • Rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  • Melt each color of candy according to the package directions.
  • Spoon about two tablespoons of each color into separate piping bags and set aside.
  • Dip the pretzel twists and pretzel sticks into the melted candy until coated. Remove with a fork and let the excess candy drip off.
  • Place matching pretzel twists together on parchment paper to form butterfly wings.
  • Decorate half of the wings with rainbow sprinkles before the candy hardens.
  • Warm the candy in the piping bags if needed. Pipe a line down the center of each butterfly and press a coated pretzel stick into place.
  • Decorate the remaining butterflies with drizzled candy.
  • Allow the candy coating to harden completely before serving.

Notes

  • Dip matching pretzels together for butterfly wings that coordinate.
  • Work with one candy color at a time to keep it easy to manage.
  • Let the candy harden completely before moving the butterflies.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or fridge.
