Egg Carton Jingle Bell Craft

Make an egg carton jingle bell craft with kids! An easy, budget-friendly Christmas activity using recycled cartons and simple supplies.

Materials

  • Egg carton
  • Yellow paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Jingle bells
  • String or yarn
  • Ribbon
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Cut the egg carton: Cut individual cups from an egg carton. Trim the edges to create a bell shape.
  2. Paint the bells: Paint each egg carton cup yellow. Allow the paint to dry completely.
  3. Add the jingle bell: Thread a jingle bell onto a piece of string. Tie a knot at the end to keep the bell in place.
  4. Attach the bell: Glue the knotted end of the string to the inside of the egg carton cup, allowing the jingle bell to hang below the opening.
  5. Add a hanger: Cut a piece of ribbon and form it into a loop. Glue the ends to the top of the egg carton cup.
  6. Decorate: Tie a small ribbon bow around the top of the bell to finish your Christmas ornament!
