  • Yield9 Wreaths 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tbsp. salted butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • Green gel food coloring
  • 5 cups corn flakes cereal
  • About 30 red hot candies

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter.
  2. Once melted, add the marshmallows.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until marshmallows are melted.
  4. Add a generous amount (1-2 tsp.) of green gel coloring, and stir until fully incorporated into the melted marshmallow mixture.
  5. Remove from the heat and add the corn flakes. Stir to coat all of the cereal.
  6. To assemble the wreaths, add a piece of parchment or wax to a making sheet or sturdy cutting board.
  7. Take about 1/3 cup of the mixture for each wreath.
  8. Spray your hands with nonstick spray, and form the 1/3 cup mixture into a tube shape.
  9. Connect the two ends to form your wreath, pressing them together, and shaping the cereal until you get your desired wreath shape.
  10. Decorate with the red hots.
  11. Repeat for the remaining of the mixture.
