Banana Split Trifle

Layers of banana, strawberries, pineapple, and creamy pudding make this easy banana split trifle. A no-bake dessert that's perfect for summer or any party.

  • 1 pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 3-ounce package banana pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
  • 2 bananas, thinly sliced
  • 10 strawberries, thinly sliced
  • 1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts
  • 16 maraschino cherries
  • 8 8-ounce trifle bowls

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the banana pudding and milk until well combined. Allow to rest for around 5 minutes, until thickened.
  2. Stir in half the whipped topping.
  3. Arrange the pound cake pieces in the bottom of each trifle cup.
  4. Top the cake with an even amount of banana pudding.
  5. Carefully press banana and strawberry slices around the edge of the glass, then spread the remaining pieces over the top of the pudding.
  6. Top with the crushed pineapple.
  7. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top of each cup.
  8. Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the top of the whipped topping and garnish with a sprinkle of chopped nuts and two cherries.
